Qualified tutor - High success rate - Over 5000 hours tutored - Response guaranteed
My name is Ajit, and I am a Physics graduate from the University of Warwick with a Master’s degree (First Class Honours). I’m a certified tutor with over 5000 hours of experience, including 2000+ hours online, and a strong track record of helping students excel at both GCSE and A-Level.
I tutor GCSE Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and A-Level Maths and Physics, across all major exam boards (AQA, OCR, Edexcel).
In addition to tutoring, I also work in marketing — with experience in graphic design, data analysis, and AI applications. This strengthens my ability to create engaging, effective learning materials and adapt lessons to suit a wide range of platforms and learning styles.
Outside tutoring, I enjoy playing cricket and tennis, and I’m a regular (if unpredictable!) competitor in my local squash league.
I’ve been tutoring for over 10 years, and have taught students of all abilities — from those struggling with confidence to high-achievers aiming for top grades.
I deliver the majority of my lessons online via Zoom, using a dual-monitor setup with an interactive whiteboard, screen sharing, past papers, and live feedback. Many students now prefer this format over in-person tuition due to its clarity, convenience, and speed.
What I offer (all included):
- Custom-made homework tasks.
- Marked assessments.
- Progress reports for parents.
- Free access to my digital learning materials, which are also used in schools.
I offer weekly sessions throughout the academic year until the final exams are completed to ensure steady progress and retention.
My teaching is patient, structured, and results-driven. Every session is adapted to the student’s learning style and ability level.
I focus on two main areas:
1. Solidifying theory - we first identify gaps in knowledge and close them with clear, step-by-step explanations.
2. Mastering problem-solving - we work through practice questions and past exam papers together — from simple to advanced — while identifying where marks are gained or lost. This builds exam technique, confidence, and long-term independence.
My goal is not just to help students pass — but to help them understand, enjoy the subject, and gain the skills they need to thrive.
Please feel free to get in touch with any questions – I respond to all enquiries promptly.
