English (Foreign Language) and Polish Tuition in Faringdon

I love teaching because it gives me a lot of personal and professional satisfaction as well as provides me with opportunities to meet new people and face new challenges.
I like reading, travelling, hiking, good films/music and animals.

Tutoring Experience

I am a qualified teacher of Polish and English as a Second/Additional Language (ESL/EAL).
I have been teaching Polish and English since 2002 both in Poland and in England.
From 2005 until 2007 I worked at a secondary school in England as a teacher of English and Language/Learning Support Assistant.
From 2007 to 2009 I worked as a teacher trainer and a teacher of English in Mongolia. After that I worked as an EAL (English as an Additional Language)Teacher/Coordinator at a secondary school in Marlow and from 2010 to 2011 as an ESOL Teacher at A4e.
I returned to teaching in a secondary school in 2012. In Slough, where I worked for 2 years, I taught KS3 and KS4 mainstream English as well as English as an Additional Language to KS4 students.
From 2014 to 2018 I taught English as an Additional Language in Oxford where I also run a little project of delivering English to women with very little literacy skills. In 2015 I became the head of the EAL department.
Since 2019 I have been teaching general English at a secondary school in Wantage.

Tutoring Approach

It actually depends on people I work with, their learning goals, their nature, interests, age etc. First, I usually try to find out why a particular person wants to study and what kind of learner she or he is and then I use variety of teaching methods that are the most suitable for the learner.
