Tutoring Experience

10 years teaching at secondary level achieving pupils to reach their maximum potential. I specialise in biology and chemistry at GCSE and A- levels. Regardless of level, I focus on pupils enjoying the subject of science and building their confidence to access the curriculum and answer exam questions.

Tutoring Approach

Using everyday news associated with science and putting the curriculum into context. Filling gaps in knowledge that pupils have missed in the classroom due to Covid, using rigorous techniques to help answer exam style questions. Note taking, revision built material, planned lessons and continuous contact with parents/guardians to inform them of progress and interventions needed to reach their full potential.
