Hello, I'm a qualified Primary School Teacher who has taken a break from full time teaching after having my children. I love teaching and also love being a hands on mum, so tutoring is a perfect way of being able to do both!

Tutoring Experience

I have experience working in classes from Nursery to Year 6 and specialise in Early Years and Key Stage 1. I worked in a school in London for the early part of career, teaching mostly Reception and Year 1 before taking a break to have my children. Prior to making the move to tutoring I spent time covering classes throughout primary school. I've been tutoring children from Reception to Year 6 since 2017 as well as teaching in Reception on a part time basis.

Tutoring Approach

I particularly love working with younger age groups. I enjoy getting to know each individual child and tailoring learning so that it is relevant to them. I have a gentle, positive approach to teaching and like to encourage or draw out children's innate learning potential.
