Tutoring Experience

Over 24 years of experience working within education.

One of my current GCSE students has just achieved 92% in English Literature and 86% in English Language (grade 9 - 2022 mocks). Being home schooled due to a chronic illness has been hard. She was a little sceptical about whether I could help improve her from a predicted grade 6. We started a year in advance of the exams and she has produced work between every weekly session. Focused activities and practice is the key.

I have recently supported undergraduate students from Liverpool John Moores University, University of Sussex, University of London (Birkbeck College), University of Greenwich, Loughborough University and Derby University.

I am a specialist in supporting the writing of a thesis, research proposal and publications.
