Hi, I am married with 3 children. I enjoy keeping up with the latest developments in the business world and the economy. I enjoy running and find it helps me clear my head after a tough day of work.
I have over 20 years of teaching in a variety of schools. I have taught Business Studies, Economics and BTEC Business successfully at GCSE, A’ Level, Level 2 and 3 vocational. I am currently an examiner for AQA at A level and have been a Lead verifier of BTEC, where I overlooked the standardisation process of my team.
My approach is to use skills based learning using active learning techniques to help students understand the content and examination skills. As an examiner I use a wide range of techniques to help students with extended writing skills.
