Abhijay

Hi. My name is Abhijay, but you can call me AJ for short. I am an undergraduate student at King’s College London studying international development. I have been accepted on a teaching programme to become a teacher when I graduate and so I have the skills to help the students improve their maths grades at school.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching maths to students up to and including GCSE, which includes the 9-1 specification. I have been doing this for around 2 years.

Tutoring Approach

I first teach the students the main concept of the topic and then I make sure they understand this by going through practice questions and past papers. I also make sure that they ask for help when they need it and to not be scared of asking for help. I always set homework and we always go through the homework in the following week.
