We spent a wonderful morning with Madeline this weekend. She taught my wife and one daughter cello (their first lessons) and all three children piano. Really helped my youngest (age 7) daughter’s playing and gave my son (age 12) valuable guidance with his Chopin. Really good with the children from beginner to Grade VII and patient with a beginner adult, and gave great feedback to all. The whole family had a great morning and set us up for the weekend. Smiles all round!

Some long overdue feedback! Sarah was a fantastic teacher and perfectly understood what I was hoping to gain from the lessons. As an already experienced musician on clarinet/sax I struggled with the technical side of the flute rather than the musicality and Sarah was able to make learning this enjoyable without the frustration, working on technical excercises and finding appropriately challenging pieces to reinforce these. We unfortunately had to stop lessons due to relocating but I am happy to say I continue to play the flute now alongside other instruments in gigs and owe her a lot for getting me up and running (though I still have lots of practice to do!)

Dan's a great teacher! He's been able to work out exactly what speed I'm comfortable learning at, and we've established goals to work towards which really helps to focus lessons and practice. He structures things according to what you want, but also offers expert advice about the best way to do things. Dan always knows how to overcome the bits I find tricky, and is patient when I do get stuck. He puts a lot of time and effort outside of lessons finding sheet music that you say you'd like to learn so you get more than just the lessons for your money. He's also a real nice guy!
