I've been working with Laura since 2019, initially as an oboe student and more recently as a flute student. Laura is an excellent teacher and musician and I feel I have benefited greatly from working with her. Laura is the most patient teacher, which is something I value greatly as it's been many years since I last attempted learning to play an instrument and it doesn't come as naturally now as it might have done as a child. Laura makes the lessons fun and interesting by establishing what kind of music I like to listen to and play, and working around my preferences as far as possible. She is encouraging and supportive, and always has a smile on her face, which is infectious. I recommend Laura unreservedly.
