Information About Talia - Mayfield teacher

Personal Description:

Committed to sustainable arts Talia is currently developing an arts centre in Uckfield to offer the arts to the wider community on a not-for-profit basis.

Talia is an enthusiastic and young minded tutor, engaging in all aspects of the child's interests to unlock as much creativity and confidence as possible.

Talia has worked as an actress and voice-over artist, knows the "industry" and writes for the screen professionally.

Teaching Experience:

Talia received her Associate Diploma in teaching Speech and Drama when she graduated from Tring Performing Arts School. She received an honours and went on to assist in teaching at Tring Performing arts school to gain further experience.

Talia then taught privately in and around her home town in Shopshire, teaching after-school at Tettenhall College.

She went on to teach older students dance in London for dance companies and doing choreography work freelance for large live stage acts in the UK and abroad.

Talia has since been teaching privately in East Sussex for the last 4 years concentrating on speech and drama for children and presentation and confidence skills in adults and young people.

LAMDA results are 100% pass rate and aims for most pupils at least one whole grade improvement at GCSE level for English and Drama.

Teaching Approach:

Dynamic, inspiring, enthusiastic and fresh. Talia believes strongly in both traditional methods redeveloped to engage young minds. English appreciation is based on fostering poetry and classical literature, as well as cutting edge screenplay adaptation and modern drama.
