Personal Description:

I am a fully qualified and experienced Actress (East 15 Acting School), Teacher (University of Cambridge) and Acting Coach (True Acting Institute, USA).

As a coach I specialize in Voice: Received Pronunciation and Accent Reduction/Softening, and in The Meisner Approach to Acting.

My Acting training began in Paris in the 1990s at Action Studio in the 13th arrondissement. At East 15, I specialized in Acting for TV, Film and Radio, after which I undertook three conservatory courses in The Sanford Meisner Technique at The Actors Temple and The Impulse Company, both in London, and at Larry Silverberg's True Acting Institute, Eckerd College, Florida.

I offer lessons in Acting, Accent Reduction/Softening, Elocution, Speech and Drama and all related subjects, including public speaking and presentation skills. I also specialize in preparing candidates for LAMDA examinations and Drama School entrance auditions, as well as general castings and performances.

I am bilingual and happy to train actors through the medium of French as well as English, and, in addition to my PGCE, I hold a Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (Cambridge University / RSA).

Teaching Experience:

Organized, enthusiastic and motivating, I enjoy the proven ability to communicate material successfully to individuals, classes and audiences of all ages, and have accordingly gained the respect, appreciation and love of hundreds of students (young and old) in my 25 years' experience as a teacher, lecturer and private tutor.

Teaching Approach:

Key words for me as a trainer are clarity, simplicity, patience, variety, appropriately graded steps, achievable but real challenges, empowerment and fun - all with a view to ensuring my students achieve the progress and learning satisfaction they deserve.

Before meeting she asked me questions on why I wanted to learn and how exsperience I am - In Order for her to have an idea before the lesson. I needed it for an audition and had little time. The amount I learnt in just one hour has blown my mind!! I’ve learnt so much in just two sessions and already feel so much more confident in the language! She explained everything and why things are pronounced - she went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and didn’t overwhelm me with too much. Best teacher I’ve ever had and I got complimented on my speaking and pronunciation of the language at my audition!! Just after two sessions. Could t recommend enough. Thank-you so much
