Personal Description:

I am an Actor/Director with 5 years experience in tutoring children of varying abilities and backgrounds.

After graduating from Drama Centre London with a Distinction in MA Theatre Directing, I received 4 star reviews from Theatre Weekly and Fringe Review.

I discovered a passion for physical theatre and mask techniques, whilst studying 'Acting Through Clown'. I now incorporate these techniques for character development, finding relationships and unlocking texts in both Directing and tutoring.

I have worked in London, across Europe and in Lebanon to deliver workshops in varied disciplines.

Most recently I have been tutoring children with additional needs in primary schools, varying from autism through to brain injury.

Teaching Experience:

Prior to my London studies, I discovered a passion for teaching whilst Directing at regional youth theatres. Since then, I have delivered workshops to over 2,000 children in the UK and abroad.

My professional experience includes:
Delivering circus workshops in refugee camps across Europe, as part of the Flying Seagull Project (a circus charity).
Directed children from disadvantaged backgrounds in London, in a fast-paced week of workshops.
Delivered LAMDA workshops within regional youth theatres, enabling young people to pass their LAMDA exams.
Worked with Good Chance Theatre in Paris, using mask techniques to break down language barriers. This resulted in a final performance that enabled refugees to tell their stories to the local Parisian community.

Teaching Approach:

In my experience, I have found that games tend to unlock people's potential and dissolve pre-existing apprehensions and barriers. Tutoring would be bespoke to accommodate your needs and achieve your goals. Be it a monologue for an audition, improved vocal technique for public speaking or simply a nice extra curricular during lockdown.

I use a range of physical techniques to; discover characters, connect to text using movement psychology and create the physical world of the character.

We can also create a tailored vocal warm up to improve your range in performance.
