Quote from Spanish learner Raquel: "I was very happy to work with Matt.
He is a very nice and organized person. He always arrives on time to classes and comes with classes prepared from before.
During the lessons he teaches you how to relax and work the Meisner technique. Matt explains very well himself and makes you understand everything perfectly.
I had a great time learning with him, he is very nice and gives you confidence. I had three-day classes with Matt for two hours each. He gave me a monologue of Lady Macbeth which we got to work, after we was working for a while the Meisner technique. Matt taught me how to deal with a character and his text. We analyzed each part, giving it a focus, an intention, a meaning… It was great.
On the last day of class, Matt recorded the monologue, edited it and a few days later sent it to me. Which is very useful for your reel.
Matt teaches you very well how to face a new character, and I can assure you that you will learn a lot. I recommend Matt for everything, it's worth it to let you teach for him.
Matt's acting coaching has allowed me to know other ways of working and researching oneself and character before working on a scene. It is always very well that actors know the techniques that best work for other actors. And so, we can make a mixture of the knowledge that we are absorbing to create the routine work that best works for us as actors."
