Information About Lucie - Edinburgh teacher

Personal Description:

I am a French writer-director who has lived in the UK for more than 5 years. I work in French and English.
I have an MA Film in Directing from Screen Academy Scotland and I am currently developing my first feature with a producer. My short film Donna was screened at Edinburgh International Film Festival and I am developing other stage and screen projects.

Teaching Experience:

I have tutored French for several years as well as taught drama classes to children and adults in French and English, both on classical texts and devised pieces.
I have also mentored actors on their self-tapes and helped them get into drama school or get parts, on stage or screen.
I have worked with young adults doing workshops on writing poetry, text for performance, and prose.

Teaching Approach:

I believe in having fun and creating a safe environment where it is easy to experiment and push boundaries. I am open to anything that is required; from formal, almost academic teaching based on books that you would like to study, to games and experimentation, as well as crossovers with music, film, or going outside and observing the world.
I like to listen to my students' needs and personalities and adapt to them.
