Personal Description:

I work as a professional actress and singer.
As an actress I have worked in film, **Contact Detail Removed**vision and theatre ;French and Saunders, The Bill, Casualty, Holby City,The Ronnie Ancona Show ,The Catherine Tate show,The Vivienne Vyle show,Outnumbered,Bristol Old Vic,Birmingham Rep,Stratford East,Hackney Empire,Manchester Exchange… RSC,Royal Court and the West End.
I have been fortunate enough to work with some incredible directors and writers; Film- Tom Hooper,Annette K Olesen, Michael Hoffman.Theatre- 'Trade' directed by Sacha Wares written by Debbie Tucker Green,Bruce Norris' multi award winning 'clybourne park' at the wyndhams theatre in london's west end directed by Olivier award winner Dominic Cooke, 'Fear' with multi award winning director & writer Dominic Savage at The Bush Theatre , 'Damned by despair' at The Royal National Theatre, directed by Olivier award winner Bijan Sheibani,adapted by Frank McGuinness to name a few… I am a singer songwriter and have worked with various artists (Peter Andre, Eric Clapton, Ultra Nate, Courtney Pine, Martha Reeves, Blue, Ben Onono,Terry Callier , Lee Scratch Perry … ).

Teaching Experience:

I work on the audition panel at The Royal Central School Of Speech And Drama,(where i trained) and i absolutely love being a part of this process.I also mentor several actors & singers and have worked with many international young actors (french,swedish,portugese & Korean). I have had great success with students gaining entry to drama schools and singers working in the music industry,which has given me immense joy.The key elements for me are, cultivating courage,confidence and the ability to see ourselves as artists.
I consider it a privilege to see the flower of a student's life open…

Teaching Approach:

I always work with the person in front of me.
One of the amazing challenges in teaching is finding the key that enables a student to unlock their greatness.
Classes will include;
breathing and vocal exercises,stretching and some movement work,creating a character,understanding text,interview technique,audition pieces mastering nerves & confidence.
