Information About Johannes - Highgate teacher

Personal Description:

Hello everybody!! I´m Johannes, a 27-year-old student from Austria. I graduated school with the matura, which is the Austrian equivalent to the GCE A-levels. I attended university and studied art history, which I graduated as magister philosophiae, the equivalent to the master. My master thesis was about "Colour photography at Magnum and in documentary photography". Photography is my big passion, and at the moment I attend photography and digital media classes at Blake college, London. I worked as a photographer and photo journalist for various Austrian magazines, the University Hospital Graz and for various art and photography museums and collections in Austria and Germany.

Teaching Experience:

In 2012 I led a workshop in Documentary photography at the Art historical student´s congress in Bamberg, Germany. It´s the first time for me to offer priva**Contact Detail Removed**ssons :-)

Teaching Approach:

For me learning photography is mainly about having an eye for situations, the decisive moment, compositions, light, colour, emotions… Every photographer must develop his personal style, and I´d like to assist you in finding your own way of photography.
Depending of what you want we adjust the lessons to your personal wishes. Possible subjects would be basic techniques of photography, different styles, life and ways of working of famous photographers as well as history of photography.
