Personal Description:
I am a North-West London based actor/singer, writer and director, with a passion for working on new material and with young people on developing their skills and confidence. Alongside my creative work and drama/singing teaching, I am also a tutor of Politics.
Drama and acting has always been my passion since a young age, doing amateur dramatics and school plays at every opportunity I could, later training with the National Youth Music Theatre whilst completing my Bsc in Politics and International Relations (2:1) at the University of Bristol, and then finally gaining a masters in Musical Theatre from the Royal Academy of Music (graduating with Distinction and DipRAM for exceptional performance).
As a professional actor I have performed in productions of 'RENT' (Landmark Productions, playing the lead character of Mark), 'Henry V' (OVO), 'Waldo’s Circus of Magic and Terror' (Bristol Old Vic and UK Tour), the European Premier of 'Amour' (Charring Cross Theatre), 'Thrill Me' (Hope Theatre, and Jermyn Street Theatre transfer) for which I won the Off-West End Award for Best Actor in a Musical, and I am soon to be joining the company of 'Alfred Hitchcock Presents: The Musical' (directed by Tony Award-winner John Doyle) at the Theatre Royal Bath.
As a singer I have performed at venues such as the Royal Albert Hall (for Disney), Cadogan Hall (backing singer for Broadway's star of Wicked Jessica Vosk) and the Adelphi Theatre, recorded jingles for BBC Radio 2 and performed on countless cast recordings and demos.
I am also a director of theatre, musicals and concerts, with shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Bristol Winston Theatre and Roman Theatre Open Air Festival; I was also the co-director for the sell-out production of 'Snow White' at the Peterborough Key Theatre in December 2024.
Teaching Experience:
I have been a 1-1 private tutor for the past 6 years, helping student gain confidence, maximise their potential and achieve their goals (whether that is getting into their chosen university/drama school, passing their exams or just looking to enjoy the subject more). I have also led many group drama workshops and masterclasses to young people of various ages, working on both text, song and movement.
Whilst my passion is Musical Theatre I also have significant experience with straight theatre, including classic works (eg. Shakespeare, Marlowe) and modern pieces (eg. Stenham, Wade), and a wide variety of performance styles (comedy, tragedy, drama, site-specific, farce, pantomime). I am lucky in that I can draw upon my experiences as a performer and director when undertaking tutoring work and helping students.
Teaching Approach:
My approach to drama classes is always focused around two main objectives - firstly, what the student/parent is looking to get out of the class, and secondly, ensuring the class is both fun and enjoyable.
Younger students may be looking to develop confidence and ability, whilst older students can look to refine skills, expand their repertoire and versatility, and focus on future training, which may include drama school applications/auditions or working with Youth Groups such as the NYT/NYMT/BYMT. Having attended drama classes since a young age, and been through the Drama school (and now professional) audition circuit, I look to be able to share my knowledge and work on making drama an outlet for enjoyment and development of vital skills that can be applied to a wide range of careers and futures.
I enjoy working through voice and movement exercises, script and song work (where requested), as well as audition and preparation techniques.

His sessions were very engaging, useful and his method of teaching helped my son immensely to prepare for his A level exams and he got the best grade in Politics. What I appreciated the most was the amount of feedback that he would receive, he found it extremely useful that he could see what mistakes he made and how to rectify them. Thank you Jack.
son in Upper Sith Form as he needed
to increase his grade. He has
definitely been a good choice as he is
very easy to get along with and highly
qualified in the subject. He also has
excellent teaching skills and I find him
trust worthy.
