Personal Description:

I am a positive person who enjoys life. I love most sports particularly swimming, yoga and surfing. I like to put people at their ease and and am very friendly.I am passionate about art, travel, people and culture.

Teaching Experience:

I am a highly professional and experienced teacher who has experience of working with a wide range of academic abilities. I also have experience as an SEN teacher who has worked with students with ADHD, Autism, Aspergers, Cystic Fibrosis and speech, communication and language needs. I am qualified and experienced in teaching art (up to A-level) and numeracy and literacy (primary/secondary).

Teaching Approach:

I tailor my lessons to suit the needs of the student. I assess the students learning style so as they are able to access the work set e.g. visual learner will need a visual stimulus. I am caring and patient and am keen to build a positive rapport with my student which is based in a mutual respect. I am keen to spend time listening to my student and their needs and ensuring that I am responding to them appropriately. I believe that I am a natural teacher and that students enjoy working with me as I make learning fun and engaging.
