Information About Eva - Dulwich teacher

Personal Description:

I am a professional actor and my credits include work at the RSC, Sheffield Crucible and the Park Theatre, as well as Netflix and BBC 1. I trained at Guildhall School of Music and Drama (First Class Honours), where I was awarded the Gold Medal for Acting (top student in my year). I am also a professional voice actor, and have recently recorded 'This Is Not A Love Story' by Mary Hargreaves, released on Audible this summer.

Teaching Experience:

I give drama coaching to students at all levels - those preparing for drama school, those wanting to explore a new speech/breathe life into an old speech, those looking to strengthen their acting skills in a non-pressurised environment, those wanting to simply get on top of nerves and build confidence… As well as coaching I also direct on the Guildhall Summer School course (for 16-18 yr olds) - this is an intensive, exciting and challenging two-week course for 16-18 year olds. I have also been invited by Guildhall to teach on various other courses – including their Preliminary Acting Course, their Outreach Programme, and on their Vocal Studies BMus as an acting teacher. I also act as a Guildhall audition panellist, and am part of the first round Guildhall audition panel every year.

Teaching Approach:

I treat every student as an individual. No one's needs are the same, and my coaching is sensitive to this. I guide students through the sessions, ensuring they feel both stretched and supported through the work - whether it is vocal, physical, text based, character focused etc… After just a few sessions students will feel a boost from their skills and self-belief flourishing.

My coaching work ultimately strives to give students a new found freedom and confidence - that they can take into their acting work and beyond.
