Information About Annie - Islington teacher

Personal Description:

I am an actor, writer, director and private chef who has been working in the industry since 2013 when I graduated from East 15 Acting School with an MA in Acting, Distinction.

I have directed professional shows, written and performed in my own successful fringe show at The Pleasance in Edinburgh, appeared on Radio 4 and written and produced several immersive shows.

I have also written a 6 part sitcom and am currently adapting my solo show into a 6 part drama for **Contact Detail Removed**vision.

I appeared on MasterChef in 2016, coming sixth. Since then I have hosted several successful supper clubs, launched an immersive dining theatre company, worked as a private chef for several clients in London and Devon, was the head chef of Shotgun Carousel's 'Red Palace' at The Vaults and managed a vegetarian cafe/bakery in Maze Hill in Greenwich. I have hosted cook along events, hen parties, private parties and dinners and can happily teach Modern European Cooking, baking, sourdough bread making, pasta making and more.

Teaching Experience:

I have taught and directed MA Actors at East 15 for several years and currently teach adult students privately on Zoom and from my home. I am a professional and hardworking teacher who strives to get the best out of all of my students and actors.

Teaching Approach:

I teach all levels and work closely with each student to develop a style of teaching that suits them best. I pride myself on being able to get the best out of my students by knowing that each person is different and will respond to different methods of teaching having worked as a director for many years and honed my ability to bring out the best in each actor during rehearsals by taking different approaches.

Over the past 8 years I have been developing a house style that has truth at its core. I have a collection of skills and exercises that have been designed to help my actors and students excel and gain confidence.
