Experienced tuition teacher and tutor offering face-to-face and online tuition. A true enthusiast about learning who strives for logical reasoning in order to reach conclusive statements. I enjoy working with young people and understand that organisation, adaptation and dedication are key to meeting each tutees needs. My tuition includes full feedback of tests, exam papers (full marking with feedback) and homework completed.

As of 2016, a First Class Honours graduate in BSc Economics ( University of Surrey). I have successfully completed my GCSEs and A-levels (Maths, History and Economics) achieving grades A*-B.

Tutoring Experience

I have worked in Emberhurst School as a Teaching Assistant for 6 months with children of various ages. This has given me the patience and attitude to handle a wide range of situations with ease.

Over 8 years experience of providing one-to-one tuition in Maths and Economics at all levels. I have taught students from all backgrounds of all abilities.

Tutoring Approach

Tutoring requires for the tutor to have confidence in their tutee as well as understanding that no two flowers blossom in the same way; neither do two children learn in the same way. One-to-one tutoring is best absorbed by being tailored to understand the tutees strengths and weaknesses.

As an ex-student, I know what is required for exam success and I strive to boost anyone that I can to help achieve this. This will involve regular exam paper practice and homework to develop key skills and identify any gaps in knowledge or technique. We focus on three areas: subject knowledge, exam practice and time management skills.

A very key aspect of this journey will be regular feedback for parents as well as tutees as this is vital in order to keep track of progress and achieve maximum potential. For me, the true measure of success is in fact the achievement of my students who I commit myself to.
