I've been an actor for thirty years - West End, Touring, TV, Commercials. I've acted in about twenty Shakespeare plays, musicals (Footloose, Wedding Singer), TV (Casualty, How Not To Live Your Life), done maybe ten commericals and also worked in casting.
I've taught Drama at Sylvia Young Theatre School for twenty years (Vocational and GCSE from children to adult), lectured Drama at US Universities (Notre Dame, Vassar, Vanderbilt) and helped countless students with audition techniques and speeches, most of which are offered a place at their first choice training colleges.
Firstly I will find out a little bit about you and what you want to achieve. Then do all I can to help you achieve it. My teaching is entirely aimed at focussing on the student - I'll listen to you, watch you, improvise with you, try and trigger your imagination, supply you with pieces, scenarios - whatever is necessary to achieve your personal goals.
