I'm a highly motivated and compassionate teacher, looking to always support students reach their potential. I'm always keen to set the bar high with expectations, and provide the appropriate scaffold to allow each one to be able to achieve their best. My adaptability, and experience means I have many strategies I can lean upon within any situation to allow the most positive outcome.
Outside of teaching I am a keen runner, entering races and coaching at the running club I belong to. I enjoy books & films, and am a keen Swindon Town & Gloucester Rugby supporter, although if there's a sport on I'm likely to enjoy it.
Tutoring Experience
I qualified in 2012, and currently teach in an academy teaching from 11 - 18. I have lots of experience with the AQA curriculum, but have had exposure to others. I have previously examined for AQA on both the English Language papers.
Tutoring Approach
My approach to tutoring would be one where I work with the tutee to allow them to develop confidence in concepts, and build structures in which they thrive.
