Maths tutor with Ph.D in Mathematical Statistics and 25 years teaching in University & tutoring experience at secondary and primary level. I specialise in A Level, GCSE and University Level. I love my subject and believe strongly in my Tutee’s understanding the mathematics that they learn so they are well equipped to tackle all sorts of questions on their examinations. I really enjoy helping children and young people to fulfill their full potential in mathematics.

Tutoring Experience

Following gaining my PhD I have successfully taught at University level. I have also tutored for many years at A'level and GCSE/KS3 and KS4, 11+ level in Mathematics and Statistics. I have had lots of success with my Tutee’s achieving high A level grades for their university entrance. I have also prepared several candidates for the Oxford Mat examination and STEP examinations. I have also taught/tutored on BTEC and HNC and HND courses in mathematics for Engineers,

Tutoring Approach

One to one tuition. I ensure that my Tutee’s have a good understanding of the topics that are required often going a bit beyond what is needed to ensure that they are very well prepared for their examinations and hence achieve good results. One-off or continuous tuition. Revision classes. Happy to teach young people or University students at all levels.
