I am a German native speaker, educated to degree level with additional qualifications in teaching languages. I am passionate about languages and speak - apart from German - English, Italian, French and Mandarin Chinese and am able to understand a great deal of other languages.
I have worked in business for over 12 years and am thus capable of teaching German from beginners level to advanced as well as business German.

Tutoring Experience

I have been running my own successful foreign language tutoring business for over 12 years now. I regularly teach and have been teaching numerous private students from casual learners (adults and children) to GCSE, AS and A level preparation, university degree level as well as business German.

In addition I have for 8 years taught four German Classes a week at Handsworth Primary School in Highams Park and have also taught at various other Primary Schools in London and Essex. Recently I have worked as German Language Assistant at Woodford County High School for Girls and at Leigh Languages in Buckhurst Hill.
I am also running a children's group for bilingual children in London since 2003. Children in this group are taught German through play.

Whilst living in Germany I have been teaching English at college and German, English and Italian to private students (children of various ages and adults).

Tutoring Approach

I have access to a wide range of materials from course books for casual learners to business German, children's books, CDs, MP3 files, apps, previous exam papers (GCSE and A-level German) to grammar books as well as TV in German and partially Italian.

I am a very patient person and will do my up-most to support each individual in their learning needs. I am a very professional and extremely reliable and try to get the best out of every student.
