With a number of years teaching in schools and tutoring, I have a wealth of experience. An outstanding practitioner, i am a young, friendly and approachable primary school teacher. I currently work in Liverpool but live in the Wirral, so I can cover all areas. I have a number of years experience teaching within KS2, consistently raising standards within education. Whether there are knowledge gaps that need to be bridged, or greater depth developed within subject knowledge, I can assist.

Tutoring Experience

I only teach KS2, largely centring around year 5, helping prepare children for year 6, their entrance exams and SATs. I have a wealth of knowledge and experience within these areas and can assist with math, English and verbal reasoning.

Tutoring Approach

I take a child centred approach, helping to remove misconceptions and raise children’s aspirations. Identifying the gaps in knowledge is key, and usually my first step before helping to fill these gaps. I then aim to develop the children’s depth within a topic.
