I am a recent graduate from the University of Kent and achieved a 2:1 in Business and Management. Helping people academically has been something I have always been passionate about, whether it was helping my peers in school and university of being a private tutor for students, this is something I have been doing successfully for a very long time. I am passionate about it as I love to see people that I help succeed and it makes me feel good that my hard work is helping someone in a positive way.

Tutoring Experience

I have helped tutor over 30 people over the past 5 years, with the students either being peers at my university/college or students at other colleges. I have had a 100% pass rate with all of my students with 2 recently both achieving A*'s in their Mathematics GCSE, which was completed early. Throughout my time at university I used to mentor first year students twice a week for 2 mathematics modules that they were studying for. This was a very enjoyable experience and 100% of my students passed, with a high percentage of them achieving a first in that module.

Tutoring Approach

I believe that every teacher should have a good relationship with their students. Having tutored many people of different ages and personalities, I am exceptional at adapting my teaching styles based on the students personality and will always go out of my way to make sure they understand everything and achieve the highest grade they can.

Exam technique and preparation is key for every student's success therefore I make sure to emphasize it early on so it is not a completely new thing closer to the exam date. Each lesson starts with a brief recap of what we learnt in the previous lesson to make sure all the students are confident in what they are learning.
