Enthusiastic GCSE & A-Level Chemistry Lecturer
I hold a PhD degree in Chemistry from the University of Leeds univIersity and have delivered over 4000 sessions mostly in Chemistry A level, as well as at GCSE and degree-level both in person and online, with over 100 concurrent repeat students and overall very good feedback.

Tutoring Experience

Throughout my studies of Chemistry I have become advanced in organic, inorganic, physical organic, liquid crystal and polymer chemistry. I have a wide experience in teaching, enabling learning in the use of data, and giving the students regularly assessments to allow them to see their own strengths and weaknesses. On top of that, I can provide them with additional tasks to be done in their own time to learn and remember the topics that they didn't initially understand

Tutoring Approach

I believe that for an outstanding lesson to be achieved, the lesson must have a sufficient impact on the students. Important factors for this to happen include, always giving them targets before and after the lesson so they know what they need to focus on throughout the lesson and at the end of the lesson to act as a reminder of what they should have taken away. It must also give the students a sense of achievement as this will improve not only their attitude towards the lesson, but also towards the topic and the rest of the module.I have given many lectures and I always strive to improve on my teaching and incorporate a variety of learning styles. I am a reflective lecturer, I always deliverer my lectures and tutorials to an outstanding level, so that my students achieve their full potential and I always act upon their feedback. I am fully capable of adjusting to the needs of individual students.
