Earlier this week, Scottish students received their exam results. Congratulations to all our students who took part and secured the results they were after!

Overall, students achieved a record 156,000 Higher passes, up 5.5 per cent on 2014, with the number of Scottish-domiciled students securing university places at the start of Higher results day has increased by 3 per cent year-on-year, with 24,800 learners being accepted.*

There has been some controversy surrounding the new Higher Maths exam, supposedly designed to fit the new curriculum of excellence. The examination body has now admitted that the new exam was too hard. The hype has now spread across Social Media with an online petition asking SQA to reconsider grades.
