He often relates the problem/task at hand to other subjects and/or real life situations, to really drive a point home; thus ensuring continual learning and remembrance. Don came to our tutoring sessions well prepared and with a lesson plan laid out; he had many tips and suggestions on how I could succeed in my university career and become the best student I could be. I have seen a complete transformation with my son (9th grade) with respect to math. In the past, he was always able to pull "decent" grades in math, but his confidence always fell short in this subject. Working with Don has given him the ability to think logically, confidently, and appropriately when faced with math problems. Don is able to see his weaknesses and create positive work habits. Don not only helps with problems at hand… But he also works on the big picture by tying in other math concepts and presenting math connections. I actually hear my son having conversations with Don about mathematical problems and with confidence. We will be keeping Don at our side for years to come … As he has given my son strength in a topic that was his weakest. Thanks Don
