Alistair struck up an immediate rapport with our son, who was a bit streesed leading into term 4 and prior to NCEA exams. Alastair and our son quickly identified and addressed the priority areas he needed to work on and they could then complement this by covering a wider scope of material over the course of some extra lessons. It was rewarding to see our son quickly regain his confidence and enthuisam for study in this topic again. Credit for much of this is due to Alastair's personal style, his tutoring methods and his flexibility to schedule meetings at times that worked for our son.

My daughter describes Margot as very patient, with a deep understanding of the Chemistry curriculum and able to explain difficult concepts in a simple, straightforward way that she can understand. My daughter's confidence level and motivation to learn has significantly improved since she has been working with her. I only wish we had started learning with Margot earlier.
