Personal Description:

I am a Classical Singer and a Singing Tutor. I also teach piano since my music studies started with classical Piano.
In 2006 I acquired the Undergraduate Singing Diploma with Honours and 1st Prize from the renowned Athens Conservatory in Greece. I continued my Singing studies at The Royal Academy of London where I acquired my Postgraduate Diploma of Performance specialising studies in Singing.
The Programme of the Vocal faculty at the Royal Academy of Music offered me extended knowledge on Singing Technique and Performance, which equipped me even more as a Vocal Tutor and a Singer. What is more my music education was greatly supported by my studies in Classical Piano , Advanced Harmony and Counterpoint, subjects through which I gained a solid music theoretical knowledge.

I am versatile individual and I have had the opportunity to hold a number of professional roles including Singing Teacher, Private Singing & Piano Teacher as well as Music Theory Instructor. I am experienced in teaching both Piano and Voice using effective learning methods, providing at the same time a fun-learning environment for each student.

Tutoring Experience:

During almost 20 years of music – related experience, and 10 years as a Singing, Piano and Music Theory Teacher, I have assisted young children, while developing my own teaching skills. In 2012 I acquired my ABRSM Music Teaching Certificate with focus on Singing.
Through the CT Plus ABRSM course I gained significant knowledge on music teaching which has been important for my development as a Singing and PianoTeacher. The CT Plus ABRSM course gave me the opportunity to explore, learn and develop different learning and teaching approaches which then I could apply even more effectively in my own teaching.
I have been teaching in many different music schools and music organisations as well as having a private studio along side my Performing In Recitals and Concerts.

Tutoring Approach:

I enjoy working with children of all ages and I have the ability to incorporate in my teaching fun ideas in order to make each music lesson enjoyable.
At the same time, a structured lesson is always part of my teaching approach. My aim is always to introduce a sense of music appreciation, while at the same time teaching students the technical aspects of Piano and /or Singing, thus enable each learner towards interpretation of music.
