Personal Description:
A friendly and professional English teacher and IELTS examiner who has a love for travel, learning languages and meeting new people. When not in the classroom I can usually be found at the beach or on a paddle board with my trusty pooch!
Teaching Experience:
10 years TEFL experience in Spain and the UK, teaching international students from all over the world in language schools and in private classes online and face to face.
Very experienced teacher and IELTS examiner with knowledge of Trinity, Cambridge and IELTS exams and familiar teaching all levels and ages.
Business English also welcome.
Teaching Approach:
Friendly, patient and relaxed. The utmost care and attention is paid to students’ needs and interests. Unless requested otherwise, importance is placed on learning new grammar and vocabulary, and covering the key areas of reading, writing, listening and speaking with an emphasis on fluency and pronunciation. With speaking being a common area of difficulty for many, focus is given to improve this and to build confidence in speaking and using English. Optional homework is given at the end of each lesson.
