Martin offers a FREE first / introductory lesson!
Hello, my name is Martin!
I am from Kaiserslautern, Germany where I grew up in a wonderful (mostly) self-built two-story house.
You will find me very passionate about music, reading, and intercommunication. Most of my spare time since 2014 is spent organizing an international online community which is my whole pride and hobby.
In general, I am trying to be very straight forward in a polite manner since I firmly believe that problems can best be solved by ensuring understanding on all sides.
Nowadays, I am visiting an Access to HE course at Lincoln College which I look to continue with a QTS the following year. While studying, I am tutoring part-time many happy students at the moment, teaching both guitar and German in the UK.
Thank you for reading until then and I'm looking forward to teach you!
Introduction & first lesson is free. Any amount paid for my contact details will be reimbursed on your first actual lesson.
My first teaching experience goes back to high school where I used to teach the guitar for many years to children of various age groups, but also teenagers at the time.
Young minds are like sponges meant to soak in all the knowledge which made it easier for me to share what I know.
Obviously, the spoiled aspect of this experience is that pupils had a choice in what they wanted to learn.
At this moment, I am tutoring a lot of happy students on multiple platforms which I am planning to do so for the rest of my life.
The age range of my students starts from 10 years old and reaches early 50s which is why I think of myself as a suitable teacher for all age groups. Throughout the 4 years I am teaching now, I have not had a single unsatisfied student which mainly derives from the passion and care I put into every single one of my lessons.
There are generally two approaches of learning a language when we're talking about professional ways.
One would base on immigrating into a country, therefore you are planning to integrate yourself into the society of another country which requires a speaking based approach.
The second approach would for people trying to learn a language of a country they intend to visit, so to say, your holiday language.
Obviously both approaches end up teaching you German, however, the approaches make it clear where you want to go and therefore already help a lot of with the definition of a goal.
After all, a combination of respect, awareness and interest in the subject will get everyone satisfied in my opinion.
Since you read this far, I will offer you a free lesson to start with! Feel free to contact me about a free first lesson.

Martin is very approachable, honest and an all round nice guy.
Had my first lesson today and enjoyed it. He has a fun way of teaching and has some good techniques to help remember what we go through in the lesson. It is going to be a challenge but I think Martin has the patience to put up with me! Looking forward to my next lesson!
Her ambition to learn makes it even more fun for both of us to obtain knowledge and I am sure she will master the language in the long run.
I am looking forward to more lessons with her and I have loads of fun teaching her German.
