Personal Description:
I was born in Italy and moved to the UK in 2002. I have a passion for foreign languages which has been the reason I decided to teach them as well as complete a degree in Foreign Language Studies focusing on Spanish and English.
Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching Italian to adults since moving to the UK in 2002. I have initially worked for Hampshire County Council for many years but decided to start teaching independently around 2010. Besides being a native speaker and a Spanish speaker, I hold a teaching certificate to teach adults achieved at level 4.
Teaching Approach:
I plan lessons according to the level of the learner. As a language learner myself, I believe practice is a key point when it comes to learning languages hence I try to incorporate as much repetition and practice as possible in my lessons. I am very patient and encouraging but, at the same time, I like to work hard and see the progress in my students' learning.
