Personal Description:
I was born in Italy and moved to the UK when I was 24. I have a passion for foreign languages which has encouraged me to complete a degree in foreign language studies focusing on Spanish and English.
Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching Italian to adults since moving to UK in 2002. I have worked for Hampshire County Council for many years but decided to teach languages independently. Besides being a native speaker and a Spanish speaker, I hold a teaching certificate to teach adult achieved at level 4.
Teaching Approach:
I plan lessons according to the level of the learner. As a language learner myself, I believe practice is a key point when it comes to learning languages hence I try to incorporate as much repetition and practice as possible in my lessons. I am very patient and encouraging but, at the same time, I like to work hard and see the progress in my students' learning.
