Personal Description:
My name is Vincenzo. I am a PhD candidate and Teaching Associate at Queen Mary University with a First Class Honours MA degree in Languages and Literature. I attended university in Italy, in the UK, and in Russia.
I specialise in Languages, Literature, and Philosophy and offer Italian, Russian, and English as Foreign Language.
Teaching Experience:
I have hundreds of hours' experience tutoring students of various nationalities at GCSE, AS, A-Level, Pre-U, BA and beyond in Russian, Italian, English as a Foreign Language, Literature, Philosophy, and Art History.
I am a Teaching Associate in the Department of Comparative Literature and the School of English and Drama.
Teaching Approach:
I prefer modern approaches in learning and teaching (Communicative, Principled Eclecticism, etc.). In other words, I try to tailor my tuition methods to the learner's needs, subject, and personal learning style (visual, auditory, 'kinaesthetic' or a mix of the three).
I enjoy using heterogeneous sources and learning materials to support the lessons (short excerpt from TV and movies, documentaries, Interactive Media, YouTube videos, PowerPoint presentations, etc.).
I am happy to teach at home or on Skype, but I can travel almost anywhere in London.
I charge £40-£55 an hour depending on the level of the student and the time and distance to be travelled.

As an Italian i find it so much more helpful and he produces some great exercises and learning material.
I would recommend him to anyone learning a language!
