Personal Description:
I have a degree in English Language and Literature from Ankara University in Turkey. I am a professional translator/interpreter and language tutor.
I live in Manchester and I will be happy to provide language services in the Greater Manchester area.
Teaching Experience:
I am the Turkish tutor of the University of Manchester and Durham University with 19 years experience in teaching Turkish as a foreign language. Also, I have been teaching English at various levels, including ESOL and exam preparation since 2004.

TuggenFrom Lee (5/5): I started lessons with Tuğgen around a month ago and honestly couldn’t ask for a better teacher! I have learned so much in such little time with her and genuinely look forward to my lessons. She explains everything so well, clearly and makes you feel so comfortable. She also goes the extra mile out of classes with voice notes and feedback on your work. I would highly recommend to anyone wanted to learn Turkish!

Learning Turkish is something I wanted to do for my career and already in a short time I have been able to implement my new language daily. Tuggen really takes an interest in why I am learning and ensures that important words / phrases are always included. The lessons are well structured and strike a good balance between revisiting previous material and learning new content. I highly recommend Tuğgen to anyone who wishes to learn Turkish.

Nothing is too much trouble for her and I feel I can ask questions at any time which will be answered thoroughly in a way which I can understand. Tuggen is an extremely friendly person which is so helpful especially for a beginner like myself as I feel I can talk to her about my lessons and homework etc without feeling out of my depth.

I learnt Turkish a few years ago and decided to start learning again recently with Tuğgen and I’m so glad I did because she makes it so enjoyable and takes time to find out what you want to learn it for and tailors the lessons towards your needs and wants.

Tuggen is easily one of the best Teachers out there, as her enthusiasm and patience is a really effective combination. If in doubt for booking, do not be.
