Personal Description:

Hi, I'm Samantha. I'm British, live in the UK and have a modern RP (Received Pronunciation) accent. I have been helping non-native English speakers with their English since 2014 and have received lots of positive feedback. This was the driver for me to take the TEFL Level 5 certification to teach English professionally which I passed in 2021.

I have over 30+ years of extensive Secretarial/PA experience in various industries, in particular within the retail industry from 2004 to 2021, which involved supporting the General Manager and Senior Management team of a flagship shopping centre.

I am fully proficient in Microsoft packages, namely Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc, and I can help with Business English queries too. I can also help with making your CV look attractive to potential employers and give you advice on what potential employers look for.

Teaching Experience:

I have been teaching English online since 2021 and have built up over 7,000+ teaching hours.

I have helped lots of students with their confidence in speaking English and after having lessons with me, this has reignited their self-belief and enabled them to progress further than they had thought was ever possible.

Teaching Approach:

My dream goal is to help as many people as possible to become really good at English. I provide a calm, relaxed teaching environment where students can feel at ease and not be judged. I am a good listener, patient and understanding.
