Personal Description:

My name is Sophie, I am French and although I have been living in the UK for over 35 years, I am well travelled in this wonderful world.
I enjoy teaching both English and French equally. As a French national, I realise how important it is to be able to speak English and I do my best to emphasize this to my students. Likewise, being French, I am able to provide quality lessons with a native accent.

Teaching Experience:

I am passionate about languages myself, speaking both French and English fluently, as well as Spanish at an intermedia**Contact Detail Removed**vel. I have a CELTA qualification to teach English as a foreign language and believe that speaking foreign languages helps people in their journeys, having experienced it myself throughout my life and travels.

I offer English and French tuition online and face to face. I have taught French to university students in Mexico and English to students in various european countries.

I am DBS / CRB checked, as required to work with young learners.
I like to meet students before the 1st lessons to assess their requirements and goals.
Lessons can be arranged at a convenient location.

Teaching Approach:

I ask you to carry out a language level assessment and discuss your goals in advance so I can provide a personalised learning program to suit your requirements. I include listening, reading, writing and grammar in all my lessons and ensure that your experience is engaging and communicative.

I recommend a minimum of 1 hour of tuition per week, with homework if you have enough time. I offer discounted pricing plans for 10,15,20 hours block and accept major credit cards. Please note that the hourly rate is for 1 student, please contact me for small group hourly rate.
