Personal Description:

I am bilingual, speaking English and French, as I grew up in both the UK and France. I really enjoy engaging with people who are learning French at all levels, and find it very validating when they make progress in their language skills.

Teaching Experience:

I tutored French at a language cafe for University students for two years, and have experience with one-on-one French tutoring for children, teenagers and adults. My experience varies from teaching complete beginners to those wishing to converse in French and discuss advanced topics such as literature, politics and science.

Teaching Approach:

I think learning a language should be fun, engaging, and relevant. I mix grammar and vocabulary lessons with real-world topics so that the learning is always applicable and easy to understand. I am happy to focus on specific topics of interest to the student, and I can provide discussion and learning resources to help to improve our lessons.
