Personal Description:

Hello, I am Natalia from Saint-Petersburg. I am a certified teacher of the English/French language. I graduated from the Herzen State Saint-Petersburg Pedagogical University (Department of Foreign Languages). Currently I am living in the UK as a married woman and working at a state secondary school. Being here for some time, I made an observation that English people are interested in learning Russian which I think is quite a challenging task. Furthermore, I miss speaking my mother tongue. So I will be happy to apply my experience and techniques to contribute to your pursuit in the Russian language.

Teaching Experience:

I was born in Saint-Petersburg, the second largest city in Russia. I lived and worked there as an English teacher for 12 years at schools –gymnasiums as well as with companies which provided in-house training for their staff. Moreover, during long school holidays I taught Russian as a foreign language to students from the USA, Germany, Poland, Japan, coming to my city for summer language courses. I also have experience as a guide showing tourists around Saint-Petersburg and speaking to them about history and traditions of my country.
Then I got married in 2010 and relocated to the UK. Here I conducted series of Russian workshops held at a state secondary school in Portsmouth area.

Teaching Approach:

In addition to positive emotions, I use various techniques and resources tailored to your needs and aims. Another significant, in my opinion, part of learning process which I employ, is home assignment that allows a student to revise material at his /her convenience.
