Information About Megan - Exmouth teacher

Personal Description:

I'm a BA Modern Languages graduate with a TEFL qualification waiting to study for my PGCE to become a qualified French teacher in September. I have lived in Bologna, Italy and Montpellier, France in order to immerse myself and improve my French and Italian skills. I have extensive experience working in a Language School for juniors, as well as teaching refugees English.
Overall, I am a very patient, kind and fun person with a real passion for language learning that I hope will come across in my classes!

Teaching Experience:

I have worked in a prestigious language school in the South West of England where I helped younger students to improve their English skills both inside and outside of the classroom. Additionally, I have worked in asylum hotels to help teach English conversation skills to those seeking asylum in the UK.

Teaching Approach:

I believe that one of the most efficient ways to learn a language is through total immersion. Using current affairs, music, art, newspaper articles and other 'real' content, students can begin to understand the language 'in context' and learn whilst enjoying themselves. I have been learning languages since the age of 9, and I'm convinced this is the best way I have seen myself and those around me improve their skills.
