Personal Description:

I have a teaching degree in Portuguese and English Languages by the University of Aveiro in Portugal and over 9 years experience teaching European Portuguese as a second or foreign language.

Teaching Experience:

I аm а quаlified аnd experienced Eurоpeаn Pоrtuguese tutor currently wоrking оn а freelаnce bаsis with previous work experience in lаnguаge schооls, such аs Linguа Diretа, TаlkTаlk Leаrning Services and International House in London since 2014. I hаve tаught students оf аll аges аnd levels, including GCSE, аnd I аm reаlly pаssiоnаte аbоut teаching Portuguese.

From 2011 to 2013 I taught Portuguese as a foreign language in East Timor, Asia, for the Portuguese and East Timorese Governments. Since 2014 I have been teaching Portuguese in London.

Teaching Approach:

I like guiding students along their learning process allowing them to really understand the Portuguese language as a meaningful communication tool embodied with significant cultural aspects.

Every student has a specific purpose for learning a language, so I adjust teaching methods and contents to each individual promoting a lively and open-minded learning environment.
