Personal Description:
I'm a native Portuguese speaker, with over 25 years of experience working as a Lawyer in Portugal and over 5 years of teaching experience in the U.K. helping both foreign students to learn English and English students to learn Portuguese.
Teaching Experience:
Since I moved to the UK five years ago, I've been giving private and institutional Portuguese lessons to English students wishing to learn Portuguese for a variety of personal reasons, namely learning Portuguese either just for fun, preparing for GCSE and A-Level qualifications and helping with every day language, with students from the most basic beginner levels to advanced level.
Teaching Approach:
I like to deliver lessons adapted to the needs of my students, without relying on assumptions about my students and their knowledge, with the goal of ensuring that they leave every lesson feeling that their personal goals for each lesson have been achieved. I truly believe adaptation from the teacher is the keyword for success.
