Teaching Experience:
In the past I`ve taught in a private primary school in north London teaching children aged 4-11 in a classroom setting so I specialise in teaching kids.
Feedback from past students/parents:
" Kesh is very kind and my daughter finds her fun to learn with" - Natalia Eremeeva, mother of Stacy, 13.
"Kesh is a brilliant teacher, she worked with our family for almost a year.
She came to our family through recommendation and really did not disappoint us in any way.
She is diligent, punctual, respectful and very sensible. She truly gets children, feels them and adapts to their needs and behaviours.
She designs her lessons in accordance with every child to suit their learning patterns best, this way optimising the learning process.
We are very grateful we had her as a teacher, she is a kind, loving soul, with the right education and attitude towards her work. She is professional, and itβs felt throughout the lessons and how she carried her self as a person. Do not hesitate to have as your teacher, she is truly amazing, educated, well mannered, respectful, kind, loving, and enthusiastic. She knows what she is doing, and provides children with amazing lessons - Inga Ink, mother of Sophia, 5
Teaching Approach:
My teaching experience first started with teaching children at nursery and primary school age, familiarising them with Chinese vocabulary and simple sentence structures. My fun, friendly personality, and the fact I like to use games and interactive activities to help them learn Chinese made my lessons enjoyable for children. For older kids I add in Chinese cultural awareness in the form of music, pop culture, and movies to get my students excited to learn.
The lessons are tailored to each student`s learning needs and targets, focusing on oral practice, listening and reading. Every lesson I start with speaking practice, which has been effective in getting students to grow their confidence to speak in Chinese in a short space of time. I also focus a lot on writing Chinese characters, and this helps students to be able to recognise Chinese characters without Pinyin.
