Personal Description:

Ciao, my name is Jo and I teach Italian. I lived in Italy in my 20s and have lived and loved the language and the country since then. I have excellent Italian grammar, idiomatic usage and vocabulary knowledge and have a wide variety of resources available to call upon.

My students tell me that I am personable, kind and very patient, taking time to explain using a variety of teaching methods to match my student' learning style.

I teach my lessons via Zoom and during the lesson, I share a word document and add all the information discussed in the lesson as we are going along. I then send you a copy of the document via email, so you have reference notes to review and keep.

I am currently teaching to GCSE level, but can assist you at any level, so please just ask.

Teaching Experience:

I studied a Certificate of teaching in the lifelong learning sector (CTLLS) in 2012/2013 and have been building up my teaching business, 'Dorset Italian', ever since. I have been teaching Italian for the last 9 years, in group classes and one to one lessons, both in person and online.

My lessons are led by you and I teach at all levels from complete beginners A1 to Upper advanced C2.
