Personal Description:

I am a qualified teacher. I teach Polish language and culture at university in Croatia. I often organize events to promote Polish culture at our university and the city I live in (exhibitions, film festivals, poetry evenings). My career started with a special opportunity. I worked as a language/vocal coach for one of my favorite singers and I also helped one actress to pronounce English with Polish accent for her role as a Polish barista.
I love what I do and I hope I can infect you with my passion to Polish language and culture.

Teaching Experience:

I graduated in Teaching Polish as a foreign language at Jagiellonian University and since Feb 2015 I have been working as a Polish teacher. I have worked in language schools in Kraków and now I am working at the University of Osijek. I teach groups, individuals and online. I have experience in teaching students from all over the world. I am very enthusiastic and I would love to meet other people who want to learn Polish. I will do my best to help you.

Teaching Approach:

I like to focus my attention on improving communicative skills as well as expanding knowledge of grammar and vocabulary. I believe that every student needs an individual approach. I have a lot of fun teaching and I hope it can be seen in the lesson. I try to create relaxed but working atmosphere. I love to chat with students, starting on first lessons. :)

I thought maybe I was taking a risk on her as she was a lot cheaper than the other tutors on the site but I can’t recommend her highly enough. I’ve only had 3 lessons so far but they have all been fantastic. You won’t be disappointed if you sign up with her

Joanna provides a fun and challenging learning experience and I look forward to our lesson each week. I would recommend Joanna to anyone who has become stuck learning Polish on their own, because her approach feels like it is personalised to my level and my particular needs. She is also excellent at explaining the various tenses and gramma rules.
