Personal Description:

I'm a native language teacher of French and Spanish with Qualifier Teacher Status (QTS). I love languages and how they can break down barriers between us . I'm enthusiastic, flexible, reliable and well organised. I love people and teaching for me is a rewarding and enriching experience.

Teaching Experience:

PGCE since 2010. 15 years of experience including academic / non academic, Beginners or more advanced… I have a particular interest in adult learning and a lot of experience of supporting them with speaking the language to a comfortable level. For those wishing to sit an exam, my extensive GCSE and A level experience guarantees you will achieve your desired grades!. Maybe you need help with your move to France. Teaching Approach:

Before any tuition starts, I like to know about you, what you are aiming to achieve and what your personal interests are.
I make the lessons varied and engaging by using videos, photos, ads , comics or articles on current affairs.

I adapt my lessons to your starting level and your learning style; I also try different resources based on personal interests. A sense of humour is important to me so I do my best to make the lessons fun and engaging, always trying to challenge my pupils.

From Jo (5/5): Isabelle is an excellent tutor. She tutored my child in the 3 months to her French GCSE speaking exams, she engaged well with my child and her lessons are interactive. She made a difference in a short time especially in pronouncing of word, tenses and other areas. Her lessons are well prepared and focused on areas that need improvement, she gives homework and feedback. I really recommend her.

Isabelle tutored my son via skype and was extremely flexible with times and worked around our rather busy schedule. She tailored the lessons to my son's requirements and brought him up to speed in everything he needed to know, ensuring he passed his exam with flying colours! I would highly recommend Isabelle.
