Information About Fiona - Edinburgh teacher

Personal Description:

I have worked as a teacher of English as a Foreign Language for 40 years. I am also the author of a dozen textbooks for teaching English to non-native speakers.

Teaching Experience:

I have taught general English as a Foreign Language, Business English and English for Specific Purposes. I am also experienced in exam preparation for Cambridge FCE , Advanced and Proficiency, IELTS, and MIchigan Proficiency.

Teaching Approach:

My approach is client-led - I adapt my teaching style and materials to the needs and learning style of my clients. The materials I use vary, depending on the client's strengths, weaknesses and areas that require improvement (for example pronunciation, grammar, communication skills etc) My preferred method of teaching is one-to-one online.
